Control of sick employees
On 1 January 2009, a change came into force under Act No. 187/2006 Coll. on Sickness Insurance, which allows employers to control their employees who are unable to work. During the first 14 days of sick leave, the employee is obliged to allow his employer to check in the place of the reported medical stay. After this period, the checks are already carried out by the competent District Social Security Administration.
On the basis of the employer's mandate, we carry out checks on employees who are on temporary sick leave, even on weekends or holidays. We provide confirmation that the employee is staying at the place of medical stay. A record of the check is made.
